The default settings of the Hewlett-Packard LaserJet printer driver must be changed in order to properly print Chinese, Japanese, and Korean languages on Microsoft Windows 95/98. Please change the LaserJet settings uder File/Print/Properties/Fonts. Look for an option that says "Print TrueType as Graphics". This option should be available with most HP 4 printer drivers. (Hint: Look on the Fonts tab.) If you are using an HP Deskjet 600C printer, try selecting the HP 500C printer driver. If this doesn't work then please install the PrintToImage printer driver. Depending on when you purchased your Unitype application, the PrintToImage driver may or may not be installed on your system. If there is a print.txt file in your Unitype directory, then the driver is currently available on your system. To properly install the driver, you must follow the instructions in the print.txt file. Note: the driver only runs in the Win98 environment. Do NOT install on Windows NT or Windows 95. If you don't already have the driver on your system, you can download the prntdrv.zip file here.(Click WinZip to download a free trial version of their latest Zip utility.)
